I am looking for a schematic for a one or two tube radio using the 1T4 tube.
It should be simple since I am both a beginner and simple.

Any suggestions?

Hey James . I did a BIT of looking around but so far I haven't been able to come up with anything specific to a 1T4(yet). How simple do you want to go? An Interflex circuit or crystal set / audio amp design would be VERY simple but I'm not sure how much gain you'd get. A regenerative or reflex scheme might be a bit more complex but might bring better results. I'll keep looking but -ANYBODY else have anything? de K

Here is my 1T4 radio, James.

It doesn't get a lot more simple than this. It is meant for shortwave,
but by changing the coil and tuning capacitor, you can make it work on
the MW band pretty easy.

Many other circuits you see around will work with 1T4 tubes, so long as
you adjust the filament and plate supplies to match the tube. I would
recommend that you use a circuit that uses a filament tube, rather than
one with a heater and cathode.

Start with a one tube radio, and leave room to add another.

Dave
