Interesting schematic!

I followed out to more info, as I was
sort of puzzled as to what the idea was, here.

Mike,

I'm glad you like that circuit! I did find those other links and it is funny how they mounted it all in an actual Ritz box! I like the minimum parts count and the fact that it has a pot to control the gain of the 386 chip. I can see how this variable gain idea can be used to make a little utility amp for various uses. I have a LM386 kicking around and think this may be an idea worth pursuing.
