Well, I had nothing else to hook my fingers into, so this is the result. It's a sequencer that displays a little greeting. The message ''God Jul'' can be translated into something like ''Good Yul'' in English. I used green LED displays because thats what I had a lot of. All kinds of things can be hooked up to this circuit, especially if transistor drivers are used.
The sequence is as follows:
0. ''G''
1. ''o''
2. ''d''
3. ''J''
4. ''u''
5. ''L''
6. NONE
7. ALL
8. ALL
9. NONE -> back to step 0
