hello,

lately i have this strange forum behaviour. i am always loosing the session.
i open a posting and if i want to answer and click on the answer button the forum jumps back to the index. i then have to click on the same posting again and if i click on the answer button again THEN i finally can write my answer.
same thing with new postings. if i click on "new posting" it jumps back to the index and only after the second attempt it let me write something.

its not a big deal but after a while a little bit anoying?
as linux expert i would say there is something wrong in the server settings. i dont think it is a forum issue.

Dave's on a shared hosting account. I think sometimes the MySQL connections get bogged down. As it's a shared server there isn't much Dave can do. Fortunately, the glitches are rare. Think of them as solar-terrestrial disturbances. 8)

Hi Randy,
It's been found that clearing the browser cookies will fix any forum
problems. Sometimes they get confused.

Hope that helps.

Dave
