Hi,
Here are old style crystal sets, built during 2011. All with components of recovery : bakelite, wood, brass, wires, etc.
Sincerely,
megawave
French collector

Very nice! I personally like to see sets like yours as they are a work of art.

I agree. I've never seen such a unique fox hole receiver! The others are also very nice, with French style detectors, of course!

Très unique, et bien fait.

J'aime beacoup le premier. Marche-t-il bon?

(.... and that's about the limit of my French  )

Hi Kenn,
Yes works great, but aerial 100 feet.
The nickname of set is "CAMEMBERT" (a very famous Normandy cheese.)

MW,

Here they are! lovely sets all. I have been hankering for some time to fabricate those french-style cat's whiskers, yours are lovely. I have been stewing for some time on a project to make a breadboard reproduction of a Jacquemard set but the cat's whisker seems to hold me back.

You are certainly a master craftsman, beautiful works of art! Je les aime bien!

Kevin

breadboarded:
I made a prety good copy of the French design using the pieces from a mechanic's inspection mirror.
Nice little swivel junction and the chrome plated tin frame does not appear to be lossy.

Perfect name! if your next 'round' crystal radio has a smoother sound, you can call it BRIE.
