I've already built my first crystal set, and it works! It was the kit from the XTAL Society, and my two boys (kindergarten and 4th grade) really love it! I have a 610' square loop antenna, 30' high, and 3 signals boom in, but they are all mushed together for the most part.

So I've been picking up some parts off eBay. I have a cool looking 1920's air variable capacitor (10-500 pf) and looking for another one, maybe a dual ganged one for the antenna tuner side.

Ya'll are great inspiration; it's very enjoyable seeing Dave's and everybody else's creativity.
