Hi,

I am new to the forum, but have been interested in Herr Schmarder's work for many years.

I've been looking for a back-up IC for my homebrew generator. Maxim has discontinued the MAX038 chip, which is similar to the IC8038, but will go out to 18 Mhz.

Does anyone have a MAX038 they are willing to sell, or know of a dealer that might have old stock?

Yes, with shipping that's a bit expensive.

I never thought of searching Ebay outside the USA.
