Hi here.
I am planing to make this receiver on 1P24B tubes. The minus of the power supply is connected to the chassis. Shall I do some decoupling here?
Can I add RF amplifier here without disconnecting detector capacitor from the ground?

Hi, Piter,

Hope you recover soon, even if it means less radio work! Yes, you should decouple the plate supplies individually. Use a fairly large electrolytic on the last audio stage. 100 uF would not be too high, as that stage could cause B+ to fluctuate.

I would couple the rf amplifier in place of the primary winding now going to the antenna. Then you won't have to modify the regen stage.

73,

Hi.
I have no problems with coupling the RF stage. I have troubles with heater connection. If I add RF tube after detector than the detector is not grounded any more :(.
P.S. KR1S Thanks, I hope to recover too :).
