Hello Hams,

I am starting an interesting project - attempting to repair an early 1970's Bell & Howell School Oscilloscope. I understand that this scope was a kit made by Heathkit. I located a partial copy of the construction manual. I believe there was also a troubleshooting manual which I would love to obtain.

Anyone here happen to have a copy of the troubleshooting guide or know where to find a free copy on the Internet?

I don't have the B&H manual, but I have worked on an old Heathkit scope.
I found a couple of resistors that had changed value in the high voltage section. So, if you have problems with the trace quality, look at resistor values.
Of course you will need a manual to know what the values should be.
If you post a picture I'll compare it to the Heathkit I have, could be the same.

Have you seen this page at the B&H site? Might be a lead there somewhere.
