Hi Friends,
For the past couple weeks I've been rebuilding Jack Bryant's Birmingham
Alabama Crystal Radio Group website. Many of you know of this long standing
website dedicated to the winter receiving contest for crystal sets and 1AD radios.

I rebuilt it in 2007, but most websites get outdated. So a new one was needed.
I also moved the site to a new web host. This was to save Jack the hosting
costs and pay for it in the way my sites are now funded.

Here is the url: http://crystalradio.us/index.htm

I hope everyone enjoys it.

That really looks nice Dave.

Sure hope Jack and the rest of the 'Bama Boys are doing well. Those contests were great fun and that group did an awful lot for the radio hobby.

Dave,

One question.....where do you get the time to do all of this wonderful work? I retired 2 years ago and I can't get anything done! Your work is much appreciated by many!

Very nice!
What software do you use to create the pages?

Super job, Dave ! You've preserved a very significant part of crystal/1AD set lore and history. We owe you.

Thanks everyone.

Dan: I spoke with Jack and since offering to rebuild the site he is thinking of
getting back in to all this somehow. His work schedule is now different and the
rest has done him good.

JB: I tend to jump in to these things feet first and can sit here for hours
writing website code. I don't have a lot else to do.

Bob: I use a program called Topstyle-4.

http://topstyle4.com (Every once in a while http://www.bitsdujour.com
offers the program for half price.)

Topstyle is for people that hand code their pages. I've been using it for years
along with an earlier similar program called Homesite which is no longer available.

The html5 templates are available for free at http://freehtml5templates.com .

Again, thanks for looking at the site. All this is my way of giving back some
of what the internet has given me for years. I think that all the domains that
I manage are now up to the modern html5 code.

Dave
