I picked up a pretty decent shape Zenith Royal 490 for 5 bucks the other day. It works ok, but since it's 49 years old it could stand an alignment and cleaning. I have a bad copy of the schematic, so I am looking for more/better service alignment info for the zenith royal 490. I think it is in Sams TSM-33? I saw there is a copy of that TSM on ebay and will buy it, if I can't find something cheaper or someone willing to make scans or copies of the pages I need. The chassis number is 7KT45Z1.

This morning, about 4am I tested the radio from central Florida and was picking up DX from Charlotte NC. Not bad for summer time. Anyway, if anyone can help me with some service info for this radio, I'd appreciate any help you can give me with this project.
Thanks, Bill..

There's a schematic here on page 180:

Looks to be a fairly basic AM transistor radio circuit, so you should be able to follow a generic alignment procedure.

Thanks Bob, for helping me find a nice schematic and thanks to Dave for hosting it on his website! I'll search for a generic alignment procedure as you suggest too. I appreciate your helping me!
