Hi Friends,
Now that the board has moved to it's new clean spot on the internet and
most problems have been resolved, it is time for some housekeeping.

Some earlier posts discussed additional topic areas. This is only the third
time that I have changed the topic areas. This is devoted to the radio
home builder, so keeping that in mind, I have added new sections to
the board.

Some of us like building transmitters. Some of the old radio collectors
like building the little "part 15" sets. Part 15 refers the rules section
set by the Federal Communications Commission regarding the use of
small transmitters that transmit around the house and sometimes the
neighborhood.

Also, some of us are ham radio operators that build their own rigs.
A special topic forum is there, just for you.

Finally, there is an antennas topic area. Most of our little radios need
antennas. I looked over all the forums presented there, and felt that
antennas needed their own forum.

I hope that I didn't add too much. I don't want to confuse everyone.
I don't do much moderation on this forum. Sometimes a post would
be better in a different area, but I don't want to nitpick.

I think that the topics areas of homebrew radios are now well covered.
I skipped the audio topics as there are a lot of excellent forums that
specialize in homebrew audio. I don't want the RadioBoard to be just
a me-too place. My desire is that most of the members here will find
most of the topic areas of interest.
